What Are the American Advertising Awards?
The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition—attracting nearly 30,000 entries every year nationwide. Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the competition recognizes and rewards excellence in the art of advertising.

The journey begins at the local level, where winners advance to district and then national tiers of competition. Winning an ADDY® Award locally is the first step toward national recognition for creative excellence.

How to Enter

All entries must be submitted through the American Advertising Awards entry portal (below). Use the official rulebooks (below) to view a full list of categories and rules. Please direct additional questions to aafmsgulfcoast@gmail.com.

Please Note: The entry and judging process for all categories in the 2024 American Advertising Awards will remain completely digital. This decision was made in alignment with AAF National. Extra exhibit uploads (up to five images, and one video) will remain in the entry portal for all categories that previously required a physical entry. These details are noted within the online entry forms.
